Can I edit my package later?


All of our wedding packages are fully flexible. This means you can customise your order to create your perfect package without losing out on the best deals. With Precision, you are also able to add to your package at any time before your wedding, via your Precision Planner Dashboard.



How long do I have to pay for my package?


After the deposit, you are able to pay off the remainder of your package total online anytime, via your Precision Planner however you like. This gives you the flexibility to pay it off in line with your own wedding budget (min £50 per transaction). We ask that you make all outstanding payments 1 month before your big day when possible.

Do you offer a last-minute or weekday discount?


In short yes! We try our best to offer up to a 10% discount depending on how busy our calendar is that month. This applies to both last-minute bookings such as elopements or due to photographer cancellation and weekday/off-peak wedding dates! Be sure to ask for a discount when you get in touch. Please note we are sometimes unable to further discount sale packages or products that are already of incredible value.


Do you offer an NHS, Emergency Services or Military discount?


We offer at least a 10% discount on all our services to all NHS and Emergency Service workers and military employees. This discount extends to any and all key workers. Please note we are sometimes unable to further discount sale packages or products that are already of incredible value.


Are you available for Destination Weddings?


Thanks to a natural passion for shooting in new venues, Chelsea is always eager to make it possible to still book a Precision Photography service at your wedding no matter how far the destination! Costs for accommodation, travel and maybe more will all need to be planned out but we try to keep this as low as possible. Chelsea invites couples to get in touch directly for a bespoke quote!


Are you comfortable with Kids?


We are crazy about kids here at Precision and we like to try our best to get make them comfortable with the lens! But don’t just take our word for it… check out our reviews for countless comments mentioning Chelsea not just capturing great photos of the kids but making them feel involved and even keeping them entertained!


How about pets?


Everybody on the team is extremely good with all manner of pets from those with fluff to those with scales! We just have to make sure our resident Precision Dog Rufus doesn't find out about any new dog friends and our data scientist Jack will vanish at the sight of anything with eight legs!

Terms of Service,
Precision Wedding Photography and Videography.

Booking Fee

At Precision, we ask for a 50% non-refundable booking fee (75% for orders under £750). However, thanks to our flexible payment schemes you do not need to pay this much all at once! Please note that by booking with Precision you are agreeing to the 50% booking fee. If you cancel your order before we have reached 50% of your order balance paid Precision reserves the right to insist you complete the booking fee payment up to 50%.


Payments

Our monthly payment scheme allows for flexible, manageable payments every month. We are very proud at being able to offer this as our customers have requested it for some time, especially the lower booking fee.

If you miss a scheduled monthly payment (before the 50% booking fee has been reached) you will have 48 hours in order to complete that payment and continue on your agreed monthly payment scheme. You will receive reminder emails during this time but emails do get missed so please do not rely on this or expect a further extension due to missing an email.

If you are still unable to pay within the 48hour extension your monthly payment scheme will be cancelled and you will be instructed via email that you now need to move onto our pay anytime system. This will require you to top up your current balance to at least 50%. You will be given another 48hours to complete this. If this final deadline is missed and we have not heard otherwise we will assume you no longer intend to complete your order and your date will be cancelled.


Missed Payments (only applies to monthly payment scheme)

All payments are made online via your private client planner. You are able to make payments as frequently as you like in order to work with your budget (Min £50 per transaction). We ask that your order total is paid in full 1 month before your wedding day. In the event you are unable to hit this deadline please let us know as soon as possible so we can agree on an extension.


Travel Charge

We reserve the right to adjust our travel charge estimate. We will only need to do this if our automated system calculates the wrong total value. Please note by agreeing to our terms of service you are agreeing to pay any outstanding travel charge according to our calculation, found here, regardless of the estimate given to you by our automated system upon checkout. Also note it is very rare we actually need to adjust our automated travel charge calculation and when it is necessary we will, of course, contact you and justify the adjustment.


Delivery

Photo Albums, DVDs and other physical goods will be dispatched as soon as possible after your final images/videos are ready to view. While a lot of printed products will be dispatched the next day our photo albums are a little more complicated.

We are very proud to allow our customers to select their own photo album images online using our selector gallery tool. Once selected we aim to have your order printed within 48 hours. It is then sent to us for quality control and usually further packaging (hamper) so please expect at least a 2-week wait for your album from the selection. We are always aiming to speed this up so it may be faster but we also think the quality, hand care and attention are worth the delay!


Photographer Selection

Wedding packages that contain more than one photographer will always include at least one experienced lead photographer (usually our founder, Chelsea James BA). In some instances, the other photographer may be an assistant/apprentice but please rest assured all our staff and images are quality controlled as a team and delivered to you as a collection in which we guarantee every image is of equally high quality.


Refunds

We reserve the right to cancel your booking and refund you within 5 working days of your booking/order. Please note this will only happen on the rare occasion there is an error with our booking system that means we are unable to fulfil your order and we will let you know as soon as possible.


Your Final Images

We reserve the right to hold your final image collection until all outstanding payments have been collected. Should you be worried you will have difficulties paying the remainder of your total (usually 75%) all at once please get in touch as we will try our best to arrange an affordable payment scheme.


Cancellation

In the event, you decide to cancel your order with us due to any reason not excempt e.g our Covid-19 policy or we are unable to reschedual we will issue a refund for your order excluding our non-refundable 50% booking fee (75% for orders under £750). Given we are just a two-person family team we issue refunds in the same instalments the order has been paid in with the same duration between (re)payments.


Your data

Please rest assured if we collect your personal information we handle it in the most secure way. We will delete any information we hold on our servers as soon as they are no longer needed (order complete). Please note Precision Photography does not collect any payment information (handled by a third-party, Stripe). Also note Precision Photography will never sell any of your personal information, such as your email address, to any third parties.

We use Stripe for payment, analytics, and other business services. Stripe collects and processes personal data, including identifying information about the devices that connect to its services. Stripe uses this information to operate and improve the services it provides to us, including for fraud detection and prevention. Payment Incomplete Before Wedding

If you do not complete payment 1 month before your wedding we reserve the right to cancel your order. In this instance, there will be no refund of any payments made. We may agree to proceed with the wedding if a payment scheme can be agreed. This voids our quick turnaround promise as no post process can start until your order is paid in full. If this payment agreement is broken we reserve the right to apply a storage charge every month until payments is up to date. This is a maximum of £50. If no payments are still made we reserve the right to archive your images, videos and all other assets. This means your footage is uploaded to a cheap hard drive with no backups (most we can afford). As such footage in this state is not guaranteed to still be available. In order to recover from the archive a charge of £1 per Gigabyte will be applied to your total.

Travel Charge Information,
South Wales Wedding Photography

We do not charge for travel if your wedding venue is within 20 miles of our location.
(Swansea)

If your venue is more than 20 miles from our location:
We charge 0.42p per mile after the initial 20 miles.
This calculation applies to both there and back so it actually results in up to 40 miles free of charge.


Rarely, we may calculate your travel charge by journey duration (rather than distance).
This is in the event that the duration of the journey does not reflect the distance (Very slow roads).
This results in 30 mins of free travel with every additional minute charged at 0.42p/min.

If your travel estimate is "not yet available":
This means we were unable to calculate the cost automatically
(either due to a lack of venue or an issue with google maps).
In this instance we will add this to your outstanding total to be paid after the wedding.

Calculation: Total Journey - Free Milage (up to 40) * Travel Charge (per mile) = Travel Charge

Example:
Journey to Venue = 25 miles. So, Total Journey = 50miles (there and back).
Fuel Cost = 0.42p per Mile. Free Miles = Up to 40 Miles.
Therefore: (50 - 40) * 0.42 = 4.2
Total Travel Charge = £4.20


Hotel Fee
Destination Weddings e.g over 100 miles or 2 hours (each way) from our location may be subject to a hotel charge as our photographer(s) need to stay overnight locally to your venue.
In this event we ask for £50 upfront as a part hotel fee.
Once the accommodation has been booked, we will adjust your total hotel fee to reflect the true cost.
If the £50 fee was too much we will reduce your outstanding balance but should the cost of room and board be more than the initial £50 this will be added to your total due after the wedding.
Please note the initial £50 hotel fee is taken in full as part of the deposit (not 25%).
